  1. Jakarta famed by many elements that filled it up. People may know Jakarta from its culinary, the weather, tourism spot and even from its special public transportation. Yeah, within this article the last element that has been mentioned before, which is public transportation, will be elaborated widely.
Transportation is a vital aspect for a city. Without a well transportation, the economy of a city maybe will be poor. Although the transportation system in Jakarta cannot be categorized as good or even sophisticated, but there is nothing wrong by knowing them closer. We will present you some special public transportation that became the icon of Jakarta.

    1.      Bajaj

Actually Bajaj comes from India. Bajaj is one kind of public transportation that motorized by special type of motorcycle, which is Vespa. Bajaj considered as trouble maker for some people because it produces huge pollutant and very noisy. The costs charged to its passenger vary from how long the distance is.

    2.      Metromini or Kopaja

Both of them are the name of bus. They also become favorite public transportation for most Jakartan, because it so cheap. People only need to pay Rp 2,000.00 to use them. However, please put in your mind to be very careful on using them. Yeah many pickpockets “play” there.

    3.      TransJakarta

TransJakarta is the most modern public transportation in Jakarta. It is almost similar with Metromini or Kopaja, but TransJakarta has a better quality and of course can carry much more passenger. TransJakarta completed with air conditioner, so that passengers will not be tortured by the temperature of Jakarta. Although sometimes especially in peak hour it does not really work. If you want to use it, you only need to spend maximum Rp 3,500.00 to help you reach every corner of Jakarta.

    Interior of TransJakarta

Hopefully the other kinds of public transportation can be created to Jakarta, so that Jakartan will not be tortured by traffic jam anymore. Since it not only cost our money, but also our time and health.
